What Is the Spear in Roblox Rivals?

The Spear is a new weapon added in Season 3 of Roblox Rivals (2026). It works differently than other weapons because you can both attack with it and throw it. When thrown, it pins opponents to walls and leaves behind spider-like traps you can jump on.

How to Unlock the Spear Step by Step

You do not need to buy anything with Robux to get the Spear. Here is how to unlock it:

Step 1: Open the Season Pass

Go to the Season Pass menu in Roblox Rivals.

Step 2: Play Duels

Keep playing duels to earn progress. You need to win rounds or play for a certain amount of time to move through the pass levels.

Step 3: Reach the Spear Reward

As you level up your Season Pass, you will unlock keys, skin tickets, and goodie bags. The Spear is one of the rewards in the free track of Season 3.

Step 4: Claim the Spear

Once you unlock the Spear reward, click to claim it.

Step 5: Go to Your Weapons Inventory

Open your armory or weapons inventory. You will see an unlocked icon next to the Spear, just like you saw with the Jump Pad before.

Step 6: Press Get

Select the Spear and press Get. It will say Free. You do not spend any Robux.

My Experience with the Spear so Far

There might be a way to get the spear as part of a bundle but if you play Roblox Rivals regularly, you will notice the season passes that give you free keys and free skin tickets as you play duels in Roblox Rivals.
As you level up you also get the skin tickets, keys and goodie bags but one of the season passes rewards is unlocking the Spear weapon.

Once you complete the spier level unlock, you have to claim the spier and then go to your weapons inventory and you see the unlocked icon next to the spear same way it was for the jump pad before.

You press the Spear and press Get – it says free.
You don’t have to spend any Robux to get the Spier.
The Spear is a reward in the season passes of Season 3 of Roblox Rivals in 2026.

My standard loadout was with Katana before but now I changed it to spear as I was not using Katana much and the spier is a very creative weapon in Rivals.

You can jump on the Spear. You can stack 3 spiders like stairs and jump on them similar to the jump pad or the Subspace tripmine.

Also when you throw the spear you do damage and it makes the opponent stuck for a few seconds when getting tangled in spiders that are on pinned to the wall.
You can also attack with the spear while holding it.
I like it so far.

How the Spear Works in Game

Once you equip the Spear, here is what it can do:

• Attack while holding it: You can swing the Spear like a melee weapon.
• Throw it: When thrown, the Spear damages opponents and pins them to walls. They get stuck for a few seconds because of the spiders tangled around them.
• Jump on thrown spears: After throwing a Spear into a wall, you can jump onto it like a platform.
• Stack three spears: You can throw three spears on a wall to create stairs you can climb.
• Works like a Jump Pad: The spear jumping mechanic is similar to the Jump Pad or Subspace Tripmine.

You cannot pick up spears after throwing them. You have three spears total per life or cooldown.

My Experience With the Spear

I used to run the Katana as my standard loadout. But I was not using the Katana much, so I switched to the Spear. I like it so far. It is a very creative weapon in Rivals. The ability to throw, trap, and create your own jump spots makes it different from anything else.

Final Tips

• You do not need to buy the Spear. It is free through the Season Pass.
• You cannot get it with keys or from the daily shop (as far as I know of Season 3 but that might change soon).
• Try stacking three spears on a wall to reach higher places.
