The SIM card tray is located on the bottom edge of the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL next to the USB-C port.

Step 1: Power Down Your Phone for Safety

Before inserting any metal tools, press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons to turn off your phone. This safeguards your cellular module and SIM data during removal.

Always ensure you insert the pin into the SIM tray hole and not the nearby microphone pinhole.

Step 2: Insert the SIM Ejector Tool Straight

Take the SIM removal tool included in your Pixel retail box (or a small unbent paperclip). Insert the pin perpendicularly into the tray hole and push gently until the tray pops outward slightly.

Gently press the SIM tool straight into the hole until the tray pops open with a satisfying click.

Step 3: Pull the Tray Out and Orient Your Card

Grip the outer lip of the tray and slide it out. Notice the angled corner on the nano-SIM slot, which ensures the gold contacts seat properly. When reinserting, push the tray flush against the body to maintain water and dust resistance.

Slide the tray out with your fingertips to install or replace your physical nano SIM card.
