How to modify a Canon Ixus battery to convert the battery into an external power adapter.
Canon Ixus 220 HS is sometimes called PowerShot ELPH 300 HS.
This DYI hack and mod works with any standard USB power supply or with a power bank.
In the video I use the Xiaomi Mi 2s power bank but you can use any source you like.

BE VERY CAREFUL when you cut the plastic shell, DO NOT cut deep, just enough so that the plastic shell separates.
If you don’t feel comfortable doing this, don’t do it.
