IKEA MITTZON Laptop Standing Desk Review

This is to show you the IKEA laptop standing desk MITTZON review. It’s the MITTZON laptop table with castors, size 66×50 cm.

I’m very tempted to use this laptop desk as a video creator desk with attached lights, all ready to record when needed.

What This Table Is

Today I show you an interesting table that is made for laptops, but this could be used for many things. I believe even for drawing.

So this is the IKEA MITTZON 66×50 cm table and it’s 149. That’s pretty steep for a table like this. But actually it has some interesting functions.

It can be adjusted, and from the IKEA set of these kind of tables, this is one small table that can be adjusted up and down. This one is the most fancy table, the most interesting one.

How the Adjustment Works

It has a pedal where you can press the pedal and then press on the table itself, or let it go up.

This is officially a table for a laptop. So you can use this as a desk for the laptop. If you need to use a laptop standing, you can use this table as a standing desk for a laptop.

There is enough space on the width of the table to be able to use a mouse also, I believe. And that’s an angle position.

Other Ways You Can Use It

Here is where things get interesting. You could use this even for drawing from what I can see.

But for me, what’s most interesting is that I could use this for videos. I could use this as a desk for videos where I could have the lights mounted on it permanently, and the camera would record some video.

Usually when I record videos with the phone, with the iPhone or the Android, and then it’s going to be easy to fold. You can fold this table in a corner somewhere.

Price and Design Thoughts

The price is a bit, I don’t know, it’s a bit, maybe if it was 100 it would be better. But the price is never low enough.

Maybe also if the table was a little bit wider. They have another model that is wider but not as deep as this one, and for videos this would be nicer so you don’t have to see the edges of the table. It’s going to be one piece, one whole piece.

But also, if you’re going to use it for that kind of thing, I could use another piece of wood from the offer zone in IKEA. I’m thinking now to place it on top of this table, put some kind of double-sided tape, and turn it into a bigger table. That would be very interesting.

What I Would Change

I don’t really need the adjusting features of this. Actually, I would leave it in a corner as it is set up with the lights and everything, and I wouldn’t want to move it up or down. So that would probably be a way when it gets much cheaper.

Hopefully, if IKEA is seeing this video at some point, they could make another version of this one. Wide as this one, the depth should be the same, but a little bit wider without that coffee cup holder. Maybe with the coffee cup holder, because it’s nice there. It’s a nice touch to have the coffee there.

But without this adjusting, without the folding action, and maybe even without the wheels at the back. It doesn’t really need to be on wheels. I prefer it more stable.

So, less wheels, more stability, and a bit wider.

But still, it’s a nice product, I believe. Thanks for reading.
