Sony MDR-7506 Replace ear pads material flaking pleather flakes and earpads falling apart.
These are professional studio monitor headphones. With a flat frequency response curve, you hear music and audio in general the same as it was meant to be heard.
They reveal more details in music and it’s really interesting to use them. Bass is less boomy than other headphones but they do have a deep clean and accurate bass.

Remove Pleather Flakes
You can replace the earpads as shown in the video or pull the flaking pieces of faux leather or leatherette or pleather.
Once most flakes are removed, you can still use the headphones and the material under the flakes is more sturdy textile fabric.
To upgrade the Sony MDR-7506 studio monitor headphones, you can use replacement ear pads made for Beyerdynamic dt770 pro on the Sony MDR-7506.
Upgrade to Better Ear Pads
