How to Switch Wi-Fi Networks
- Open Quick Settings
- Swipe down from the top of your screen
- Tap and hold the Wi-Fi icon
- View Available Networks
- All nearby networks will appear
- Networks are listed by signal strength (strongest at top)
- Connect to a New Network
- Tap the network you want
- Enter password if required
- Tap Connect
How to View Network Properties
- For Your Current Connection:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi
- Tap the network you’re connected to
- View all connection details
- For Other Networks:
- In Wi-Fi settings, tap the gear icon next to saved networks
- Select Network Details
What Network Properties Show
- Signal Strength: How strong your connection is
- Frequency: 2.4GHz (better range) or 5GHz (faster speeds)
- Security Type: WPA2, WPA3 (security protocol)
- IP Address: Your device’s network identifier
- MAC Address: Your device’s unique hardware ID
- Channel Width: Affects speed and interference

- Choose 5GHz for faster speeds if close to router
