PC Upgrade RTX 3090 850W GPU Corsair RM850x PSU. 850W PSU will be enough for GPU Asus ROG Strix RTX 3090 OC 25G.
Corsair RM850X Unboxing
Corsair RM850X Unboxing and close look at the Corsair RM850X specifications and cables included.
I bought the RM850X to upgrade from Seasonic Prime 650W PSU to 850W PSU. Waiting for a new graphics card GPU Asus ROG Strix RTX 3090 OC 25G.
My exising Seasonic Power supply might have worked if I could use 2 or 3 separate PCIe cables but I would have to under-volt the GPU a lot to keep the power consumption low and even then, the 650W Power supply might not work.
Unboxing the Corsair RM850X I discovered that the PSU came with 2 PCIe cables and 3 CPU cables. It would have been a lot more useful if it had 3 PCIe cables.
I did a bit of research and 2 separate PCIe cables are fine. Using 2 PCIe sockets on the PSU and connecting to RTX 3090 with 3 PCIe 12v power sockets. I will use one PCIe 12v cable standalone and the second one daisy-chained to be able to use all 3 12V power sockets on the RTX 3090 GPU. The PCI 5.0 Power adapters for the 600W+ single connector uses 2 PSU sockets also. If you look for it, you will see Corsair sells the Type 5 cable set with the PCIe 5 connector taking power from 2 PSU sockets not 3.
The Corsair RM850X had a strong lacquer or power components glue smell that was very strong and it smelled in the room for 2-3 days while in use. Eventually the smell faded away. Keep your windows open the first 2-3 days you use this PSU. It smells bad but some people like this power transformer lacquer components smell.
The Corsair RM850X is larger than my old PSU Seasonic Prime Gold 650W. The case dimensions are the same to be compatible with ATX cases but it’s a few centimeters longer.
Installed it and it’s working perfectly
For now I have my existing Asus Dual OC 6G RTX 2060 installed in the PC and my RTX 2060 only needs one PCIe 12V power cable. I routed the other 2 power cables already waiting patiently next to the gpu for the time to install the new RTX 3090 in there.
Like this, all cables are ready and it will be a quick GPU swap when ready.
I upgraded the PSU also to make sure that I reduce the chances of the RTX 3090 not working and I didn’t want to do the PSU and GPU upgrade together to make sure the PSU works with the existing GPU before upgrading the GPU too.
Doing it in steps to avoid doing too many changes at once in case a component is faulty.
Corsair PCIe Type 4 extra cable
PCIe cables are ready to go, PSU works fine with the existing setup. Ready for the Asus ROG Strix OC RTX 3090 24G GPU.

Comparison Camera Video and Microphone
I do a side-by-side video with S23 ultra and Xperia 1V. The weather was 31 instead of 33 celsius when the Xperia 1V overheated and it was very windy by the beach so the sound on Xperia 1V was mostly wind noise while the samsung was ok. Sorry for the wind noise, I keep it so you get an idea of how Xperia 1V sounds like in strong wind. Reduced volume on some super windy parts.
The Xperia 1V recorded a long session of 4k60p in the hot summer sun and even 4k 120fps. No shutting down and no overheating warning. It was probably because of the strong wind cooling the sony. I believe the colors on HLG HDR video are just Amazing! for windy days a pair of wind jammer stickers on the microphone holes or external stereo thru usb interface or a regular TRRS microphone is a must. The Xperia does have a noise reduction function but I didn’t use it in this test.
Difference in size between Samsung s23 Ultra vs Xperia 1 V or Xperia 1V. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is a very versatile phone and is useful in many ways.
Sony Xperia 1 V vs Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to compare video camera quality and microphone audio quality.
All 4K UHD 30fps, 60fps and 120fps sample footage test HDR10+ vs HLG HDR sample videos. S23 Ultra records in HDR10+ Sony Xperia 1 V records in HLG BT.2020 HDR Video.
Pros for the S23 Ultra
Microphone quality is really good in windy conditions. The price now is lower for the S23 Ultra and we can get 512GB storage or even 1TB while the Xperia in Europe is 12GB RAM 256GB ROM storage only. Camera zoom reach at 10x is much further than the Xperia 85-125 or 3.5x to 5.2x zoom lens. Bigger and wider displays are easier to use for daily apps. S23 Ultra S-Pen. Is built like a jewel with a beautifully designed metal frame around the phone and around the cameras. 8K video recording Samsung cases are really good Leather and silicone compared to Sony Xperia 1 V that at the moment I can’t find a case for. HDR10+ video recording option.
Cons of Samsung S23 Ultra
Video is too sharp and phone-like but still very good quality especially at 10x zoom and 100x zoom Samsung is the best I’ve seen so far. Heavy especially with the leather case installed. The display feels too wide sometimes and feels more like a small tablet than a phone. Over-saturated and over-sharpened images and videos.
Pros for Sony Xperia 1 V
4K HDR BT.2020 120fps OLED Display is really beautiful and it has amazing pixel density. On preorder it was bundled with a free pair of Sony WH-1000XM5 legendary noise canceling headphones and Bravia Core 12 months streaming service. Sony Xperia 1 V is light and built very rugged with patterns on the back glass and edges of the phone to make the phone less slippery and it looks beautiful too just in a different way. True zoom lens with moving optical elements. Headphone jack and MicroSD card slot in 2023 is a major plus for convenience. Natural colors in photos and videos 4K 120fps and HLG HDR recording in all video modes.
Cons of Sony Xperia 1V
Can overheat fast if doing any heavy processing or recording 4K video in 60fps or 120fps. The display is too narrow for some apps. No case available from Sony yet.
Sound problems
I didn’t enable the Xperia 1 V microphone intelligent wind reduction. It’s off by default and was worried it would make the sound tinny. I should have tested it on /off but didn’t imagine wind would be such a big problem for the sony and kept it off a few days before doing this test and totally forgot to try it during the tests. I could test them with this and external microphones if anyone is interested to hear a comparison.
Prevent Samsung Oversaturated Images and video
Samsung Auto scene detect was off to prevent ‘samsung colors’ everything else was default settings.
HDR on for both. HLG bt.2020 on Sony and HDR10+ on Samsung. Colors on Samsung looked like that on its own display. Also it looked oversharpener most of the time. Some parts looked better on the Samsung I believe but really very few.
Other than the wind Sony has amazing video quality but Samsung takes great photos if auto scene mode is off. Sony takes great photos too but on the Samsung they look really cool like a modern look while the sony feels like a manual film camera with a Jupiter or Helios vintage lens that can take artsy pics.

Sony Xperia 1 V Drop Tested by accident coming out of the car, the phone came out of my pocket and hit the car frame then the concrete cement pavelemt really hard.
Sony Xperia 1 V XQ-DQ54 EU model. Today I did a drop test of Sony Xperia 1 V by mistake.
I had the phone in my front pocket in the car and as I opened the car door to come out of the car, my beloved Xperia 1 V slides out of my pocket and hits the car frame in multiple places for it to eventually hit the hard concrete pavement with many small and large rocks coming out of the cement concrete floor.
My precious Sony Xperia 1 V was sliding on the cement concrete pavement face down / screen down on the concrete like it was sliding on ice. I was really worried the screen was cracked or some major dents happened and I have a dent on the side of the phone 1mm away from the 4k display. I was really lucky the display doesn’t appear to be damaged in any way.
The dent is made in the frame of the Xperia 1V and it can be polished away with a pencil eraser or my nail but best is to leave it as it is and get a case and a screen protector asap.
Case and screen protector are a must. At least get a case for it, any case is better than aluminum frame hitting cement and getting dents so close to the display.
I use it and test it for about a week now already and there are some good things and bad things about the Sony Xperia 1 V phone.
Overall this phone is a work of art hardware and software. Will make some video tests and comparisons with the S23 Ultra in HDR video and photo.
I wish it was just a bit wider but not as wide as the S23 ultra. Any info you are curious about or tests you want to see ask.

Why but? The Sony Xperia 1 V is not a simple to use phone mainly because of the camera apps and the unusual 21:9 aspect ratio of the display.
You need the best phone that can do everything? Have a look at Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
You want to feel special and you’re willing to sacrifice some convenience for the wow effect? Also, if you are a content creator the Sony Xperia 1 V Camera pro and Video pro apps give you many really useful features. The Cinema app is there for I don’t know who. My opinion is that Video Pro app should do 21:9 video recording too and leave the Cinema Pro app for the specialized uses.
Overheating sometimes
The Xperia 1V overheated after 3 minutes of 4k30p video recording on one day with +33 no wind celsius.
Today I did a video comparison between Sony Xperia 1V and Samsung S23 Ultra. Recorded 4k60p on Xperia without any thermal shutdown like I had before.
Today was 31 celsius with strong wind at the sea so that’s probably all the Xperia 1V needs to keep going – strong air flow.
Noticed the image quality on the Xperia 1V very close to my Panasonic Limix S5 and colors were true to real life.
I tried to use the stylus from s23 ultra on the Xperia 1 V. I had low hopes but it didn’t work at all on the Xperia 1V.
Ideally we will have a Samsung Xperia like Ultra without the narrow screen of Xperia or less wide that the S23 Ultra.
Samsung S24 Ultra Xperia 1 VI Wishlist
Wishlist for Samsung and Sony on their next phone:
Display of Xperia 4K BT.2020 Don’t care about LTPO.
Front facing Stereo speakers of Xperia 1V.
Stylus that works the same as the S-Pen.
The next Xperia can be more heavy but keep it under 200 grams for the bare phone.
Don’t care about 3.5mm jack – it’s nice but usbc adapters are ok especially the Apple adapter. It’s really useful to have 3.5 mm headphones jack for listening to music while charging.
Don’t care about a SLOW microsd slot reader.
Give options for 512GB and 1TB and people will buy what they need.
Sony Xperia 1 V Review
I use it and test it for about a week now already and there are some good things and bad things about the Sony Xperia 1 V phone.
Xperia 1 V biggest features are the bt.2020 HDR display, amazing front facing speakers and camera like photos and video.
But watch out it tends to overheat. Was recording a review vlog and the thing overheated on me.
Photos are less phone-like and more camera-like which is amazing for a device to carry in your pocket.
Videos especially hdr hlg are amazing on all lenses and especially on the 24mm lens. You have 4k 120 for those splashes at the beach.
You will feel less like a sheep that follows the herd and more like a confused sheep who paid a lot of money for a phone with a narrow but beautiful screen that is overheating more than you imagined.
Bravia Core for Xperia
Bravia Core, can’t have everything I guess.
Bravia Core Xperia app is not available in the country I live in. I live in EU but after a * disclaimer and a Europe2 list that only show the countries list after you hover it. Bravia Core all available in EU was a white lie covered by terms and conditions after seeing the marketing photo with the preorder offer invluding Bravia Core. It doesn’t support Cyprus, tough luck.
I talked to sony support and they sent me a link that says the app is not available in my country – Cyprus. They sell it as having bravia core 12 months subscription but can’t install the app. Did they forget Cyprus is actually in the EU?
A few things so far I noticed: 4K 60 gets hot fast but no temp warning so far in normal use. Also gets hot just from watching YouTube. I suspect it’s the Real time HDR drive setting and Creator mode causing the overheating.
I didn’t enable 120hz constant refresh rate or audio processing.
Audio
I tried Dolby sound and DSSE ultimate but made no audible difference to me do I turned them both off.
Display
Best is to use Creator mode and 120hz high refresh rate but I prefer to keep constant 120hz setting off.
The display on the Xperia is simply amazing.
Cameras
All 3 cameras can record 4k 120fps video. Yes they can.
16mm ultrawide looks good but 24mm looks amazing and for portraits try the 85-125mm equivalent lens. Seamless zoom can switch automatically between lenses but not at 60fps or 120fps
Camera apps
The Photo pro app in basic mode, can record both photos and videos just like a regular phone camera app.
The camera pro app in P mode can record RAW dng files that average in size to 20-25mb per photo. To compare .jpg files are about 2.5-3mb each.
Video pro app is for advanced users with meters settings and so many useful things that might actually get in the way to recording. This app is not for your average clips. It can record bt.709, S-Cinetone for mobile and HLG HDR.
For me the video app is set to always 4K HDR and between 60 and 30fps, seamless zoom or 24, 85 -125mm.
Cinema pro app is really beautiful and can record in wide screen 21:9 but it has so many annoying things that I wouldn’t touch that unless I must use ultrawide.
Initial setup
Initial setup restore from Google One Backup went very smoothly.
Transferred from my old Xiaomi all settings and apps are surprisingly easy but Xperia 1 V became very hot while doing it. Even had the cameras disabled for high temp and only got fixed after a restart.
Sony Xperia 1 V vs Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
Overall this phone is a work of art hardware and software. I recorded some video tests and comparisons with the S23 Ultra in HDR video and photo.
I wish it was just a bit wider but not as wide as the S23 ultra. Any info you are curious about or tests you want to see ask.

Software updates
Sony Xperia 1 V is supposed to receive 2 major Android updates. Or 2 years of software updates and longer security updates but nobody really knows for sure.
Xperia 1 V ships with Android 13 Android API 33 so we should expect to have Android 14 on Sony Xperia 1 V and then Android 15 before Xperia 1V is abandoned in the software update pit of endless wait for updates abd darkness (huh poetic stuff here).
Best part about the updates is that the have interesting illustrations – check details on them. Also system updates take a long time.
Sony Xperia 1 V Software Update 67.0.A.4.22 installation and steps taking a long time to complete. You should start a software system update with at least 50% battery. This shows what to expect when updating the Sony Xperia 1 V system to update 67.0.A.4.22.

Conclusion
Conclusion or is it worth the money?
We bought both Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and Sony Xperia 1V with our money. Videos and this post are not sponsored and show real life use.
Would I exchange my Sony Xperia 1 V for Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra? No. I like a light phone and even if I really enjoy the S23 Ultra S-pen, it’s too wide and heavy for me.
I am starting to get used to the Xperia 1 V 21:9 narrow screen and I use wired headphones on it every day just like in the old days when all phones had a 3.5mm headphone jack!
I don’t use the MicroSD card yet but I might grab a 1tb Sandisk Extreme to have extra storage. Watch out for the slow read /write speed on the Xperia 1 V MicroSD There are some reports of limited speed of as low as 30 MB/S
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is an amazing productivity and media + browsing phone.
Sony Xperia 1 V is the cool content creator’s phone that is like a tool ready to use any moment instead of running for the camera. External monitor mode only works if your camera is Sony thru USB-C, not my case so I don’t care about that.
Also the external monitor thing is a bit of a gimmick.
As a content creator, the best thing about switching from filming with a phone to using a camera is that my phone is free and not with a dead battery when I finish a video.

The good: Made for Apple iPhone and iPod, supports Alexa built-in and Google assistant. Hi-Res Audio LDAC Bluetooth audio Wired 3.5mm audio jack connection option and USB-C universal charging port. Amazing noise cancelling effect. If feels like you are instantly moved to a quiet room as soon as you put the headphones on as long as the power is on. Even if the music is stopped. Talk feature when you can cover your right headphone and ambient-aware / talk-thru functions plays in the headphones the sound from outside. Eco-friendly packing and great carrying case. Zipping the case closed feels like preparing for a trip on a plane. Any Noise cancelling headphones and especially the Sony WH-1000XM5 are a must have for frequent flyers.
The bad: A bit bulky and can feel hot in the summer. Complicated storage system headphones do not fold and can take more space in some situations.
Included in the package: Sony WH-1000XM5 Carrying case with zipper made of cloth and strong plastic hard structure. Charging cable USB-A to USB-C very short – you might need to buy another cable. Update 14 August 2023:
Sony Xperia 1 V camera lenses rattle moving noise and image stabilizer noise
Sony Xperia 1 V camera lenses rattle moving noise and image stabilizer noise.
Sony Xperia 1V Camera lenses moving noise when starting the camera app or video pro app. Sony Xperia 1V camera noise Stabilizer Zoom on off. Sony Xperia 1 V makes a strange noise when the camera turns on and while the cameras are in use it makes a strange buzzing noise that changes while zooming. Also there is noise when the image stabilization compensates for movements. The lenses of the Sony Xperia 1 V are loose inside and make a rattling noise when shaking the phone while the cameras are turned off. Once the cameras are started and the magnetic field of the image stabilization is working, the lenses rattle noise should not happen.
I placed microphones close to the Sony Xperia 1 V to hear the various noises made my the cameras.
I’m not sure if this is all normal. I believe it it normal but let me know in the comments bellow what you think. Is it normal or no? You noticed something different?
Xperia 1 V OIS buzzing noise fixed
Later update 2023.12.07, I was able to fix the ois noise on my Xperia 1 V.
I compared the stereo left and right microphones on the Sony Xperia 1 V to hear the various noises made my the cameras.
Testes the Xperia 1 V with the Spigen case and without any case.
The ois buzzing noise is in the left audio channel when recording stereo and it’s much louder when the phone is in the case.
Modified the Spigen case to reduce Xperia ois lens noise during video pro app recording.
I’m not sure if this is all normal. It’s probably a problem with all the Xperia 1V phones or Xperia phones in general. Let me know in the comments bellow what you think. Is it normal or no? You noticed something different?
If only Sony placed the microphone closer to the headphone jack or in the middle of the phone similar to how the Right channel microphone is next to the usb-c charging port.
Adding the foam on the corner really made all the difference eventually. it sounded like without the case. Noise was still there sometimes but at the level of when not using the case.
I will setup a rig with a phone mount and hook and loop to attach to the phone an external stereo microphone thru a usb audio interface for much better audio quality similar to how the camera audio was during the tests. can’t carry that all the time but the case mod and the option for external stereo is ok for me.
Did you try this fix and did it work for you? Let me know in the comments section below here or on the video comments.
Samsung T7 Shield SSD vs T7 and T7 Shield Speed Test.
Samsung T7 Shield SSD unboxing and build quality close look.
Samsung portable SSD T7 and T7 Shield are compact portable external SSD made for fast and secure access to your files.
Samsung T7 Shield SSD Speed tests
They work with Android, Windows and Mac. Samsung T7 and T7 Shield are very similar and while the T7 SSD is compact and has high performance for read and write speed. The T7 Shield offers the same read and write speed but in a more rugged enclosure.
The T7 Shield is resistant to water and dust and it’s even impact resistant. Samsung T7 Shield is covered in a soft rubber-like material that smelled like inflatable beach toys to me. The outer layer is soft and grippy so you have less chances to drop the T7 Shield.
On USB 3.2 Gen 2 the T7 Shield reaches the full read/ write speed.
Using the T7 Shield with a USB 3.0 extension gave unexpected freezes in transfers and eventually the T7 Shield SSD became unresponsive.
If you need a USB 3.2 Gen 2 extension cable, better look for a USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub that can sit on your desk and you plug the T7 Shield in the hub then unplug it using safe remove on Windows 11.
USB 3.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Speed test
On a PC front panel the USB ports are USB 3.0 usually. This is the speed you can expect and I had around 500MB/s transfer speeds on a USB 3.2 Gen1 port.
USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Gen 1 will give you very similar USB transfer speeds.
If speeds is important
If you must have the maximum speed you paid for, you must use USB 3.1 Gen 2 or USB 3.2 Gen 2 and avoiding USB 3.0 extension cables. Directly into the USB port or in a USB 3.2 Gen 2(x1) Hub at least.
Features
Password protection 3 meter drop resistance IP65 water and dust resistance
Performance
Up to 1050MB/s read speed and 1000M write speed Supported by USB 3.2 Gen 2(10Gbps) Utilizes rhe PCIe NVMe interface AES-256-bit hardware encrypted password protection

DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor keyboard unboxing, setup and first use. Unboxing the Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor keyboard and trying the DVR speed editor for the first time ever.
Feel of the buttons is a bit stiff at first but got used to them. They feel very similar to my Logitech G19 PC keyboard and love them.
The jog wheel of the speed editor feels really locked-in with the timeline or source monitor.
Any small slight movement on the jog wheel reflects in real time on the screen timeline as if there was a physical belt connecting the speed editor jog wheel and DaVinci Resolve Studio.
The rotating dial feels luxurious with solid weighty feel but very well balanced as seen in the video.
Jog wheel can function as a shuttle wheel which I personally don’t like much and for fast scrolling thru the timeline. The scroll feels really effective at going thru a lot of footage fast finding what is needed.
In the video you can also see my first edit with the speed editor and how easy it is to use to put a timeline together.
Good things about the DVR Speed Editor
The DVR Speed Editor comes with a full DaVinci Resolve Studio 18 license (18.1 at the moment works great). Not only that but you can activate one license on 2 computers at the same time. In this way it’s like having 2 licenses.
Was suspicious when saw the 1 activation left notice after activating it. Tried it and it works on 2 devices. After second activation it says no activation left. If you try to activate a third device with the same license, one of the previous activation will be deactivated automatically once connected to the internet for updates I guess.
The rubber pads on the bottom of the DVR Speed Editor will keep it from sliding on your desk. Rubber feet just became rubber mattresses on this one.
What’s bad about the DVR Speed Editor
Shipped with low battery
Shipped with very low battery – sitting on a shelf a long time I guess.
Speed Editor had 0% – 2% battery and no reaction when plugged in. I thought it was a bad unit.
Got the Blackmagic Design speed editor keyboard. Was worried it’s a brick for 15 min. – no reaction at all. Turns out the battery was 2% when DaVinci Resolve 18 finally sees it.
Then asks to update immediately at 8% battery. I’m glad it has a chance to work still.
Anyone getting their speed editor, let it charge on USB for a few hours. Charging can be slow and could take 3-4 hours even. Reached 43% unplugged for a few minutes then back in and showed 17% initially. Now it’s always plugged in because of the next bad thing about the speed editor.
Bluetooth doesn’t work for me
It is supposed to work via Bluetooth only but for me it does not. The Resolve Speed Editor connects to Bluetooth fine and the Bluetooth dongle I use blinks like it’s doing things.
The Speed Editor has Snap and Jog buttons illuminated but not responding to any keys and can’t change Jog mode to Scroll or Shuttle. Nothing happens when pressing any buttons.
Restarted DaVinci Resolve several times, using latest Resolve Studio 18.1 version and updated the Speed Editor Firmware as required via USB. Still not working thru Bluetooth. I suspect it might be the Bluetooth dongle I’m using so already ordered another dongle to try if the speed editor could work via Bluetooth.
On a laptop it might work fine but because I use a desktop PC, I have to use a USB Bluetooth adapter dongle.
Not all USB Bluetooth dongles will work with the Resolve Speed editor.
Update after trying different Bluetooth dongles
The DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor does work with a PC via Bluetooth but only if the PC has a compatible Bluetooth adapter dongle.
I noticed the Bluetooth dongles that do work with the Speed Editor are the 5.0 LE versions. So Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy profiles for your Bluetooth adapter is required.
After pairing, you can use the speed editor from your bed or lounge without problems.
The USB Cable
The USB Type-C to Type-C cable provided is very bulky and difficult to manage on the desk.
Also the length of the USB-C connectors on the provided cable are very long and will not make it easy to have the speed editor in front of you on the desk with the PC keyboard behind it as that for me feels like it really the best way to use it. I like to be able to use the keyboard with macro keys and mouse when needed. Not often on the cut page but on edit and color, you still need a full sized keyboard or use the full sized and more expensive DaVinci Resolve Editor Keyboard.
Make the USB cable provided with a right-angle low profile connector to keep people from damaging the USB-C connector because of it sitting on the USB cable connector.
I use a USB 2.0 Type-A to Type-C 480 MB cable from IKEA and it works fine and it’s less bulky than the cable provided from Blackmagic Design.
No charge indicator
No physical charge indicator on the device, you can only see the battery level in DaVinci Resolve – Control Surfaces or on Bluetooth devices list when connected thru Bluetooth.
No Power button
There is no way to turn off the speed editor but it does seem to enter a sleep mode if not connected to Bluetooth or USB for some time.
Before First Use
Before first use, plug in the USB cable to charge 2-3 hours minimum.
Use the DaVinci Control Panels Setup utility found in DaVinci Resolve Studio – Help menu.
Update the speed editor firmware when asked but only if the speed editor battery is more than 30%-50%.
Conclusion
I love it really love the solid feel of the wheel with rubbery edges.
Used it on 3-4 videos already and feels like learning to assemble a timeline with the speed editor is much easier than I initially thought.
Wish I’d purchased the speed editor earlier.
Using a shoes dust cover to keep dust away from the Speed Editor surface. Even though the keyboard buttons are mechanical switches it feels like an old-school keyboard in a good way – solid metal and heavy for it’s size. I wish they had some battery indicator on the device and a dedicated power On/Off button on the device.
The speed editor has many functions for quick transitions and cut options. The multi-cam features seem interesting but I have no idea what half of the buttons are for on this keyboard. Time to learn some more and be amazed how easy multi-cam is with this.
One really interesting feature is the close-up feature to use a slightly zoomed-in version of the current clip for a quick close-up suspense builder wow.
Update after 1 week of heavy daily use
The DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor really does make editing faster.
The cut page together with the speed editor will save you a lot of time. It already makes it easier for us.
The Speed Editor connected via Bluetooth and a pair of Bluetooth headphones enables you to literally edit your video while laying in bed. Literally in bed editing looking at the PC screen in full-screen mode (red key on the speed editor) makes it very easy to edit videos.
I suspect you can actually use an Android tablet with DaVinci Resolve and the Speed Editor by connecting to the PC with the remote desktop app and via Bluetooth with the Resolve Speed Editor and Bluetooth headphones.
You would have to be within Bluetooth range for this to work but it’s still an amazing way to use the powerful editing workstation PC while sitting in a lounge or bed on the veranda.
The next step up from this is to use DaVinci Resolve on a decent laptop with the Speed Editor Keyboard or the new iPad DaVinci Resolve app together with the DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor.
If you don’t have it already, try to ask a friend who has it to borrow it or just get it and be amazed how fast you get used to it while still keeping your JkL editing muscle memory intact.
Philips steam iron model specifications Philips PowerLife SteamGlide 85g 2000W Philips SteamGlide steam iron for clothes not working. Plugged in, not starting. Philips steam iron not working silent no thermostat noises.
The problem could be damaged electrical wiring, water damage, heating element broken or thermal fuse failure. Clean and reposition the thermostat if needed. A steam iron thermostat can be replaced with a new part.

Pen not working, how to fix a ballpoint pen. Pen not working fix ballpoint pens or How to fix a ballpoint pen without any tools or ink solvents. Ink ballpoint pens will stop working if not used for a long time. Use the tips in this video to revive a ballpoint pen that doesn’t work anymore.
How ballpoint pens work
How a ballpoint pen works is by using a tube filled with pen ink similar to a fountain pen but the ballpoint pen ink is made into a thicker and sticky consistency. The Ink flows out from the tube and is restricted by a ball at the end of the pen. A ballpoint pen ball will allow ink to come out as the ball rolls on a surface such as paper.
If the surface is too smooth and shiny, the ball will not roll and the ballpoint pen ink will not be released. This makes a ballpoint pen not work in many cases.
How is a ballpoint pen made
Ballpoint pens can vary widely in shape sizes and functionality. The ball point pen components can be made of multiple material types but the main components are the same.
Ballpoint pen refills
Some ballpoint pens have a larger refill reserve and some have the standard thin ballpoint pen refill tubes. The simplest ballpoint pen refills are the thin ink tube refill with a brass end that encapsulates a Steel ball that will roll onto paper and release ink. Some ink refills contain different ink types some thicker and some ink gels smoother making writing with a ball point pen feel similar to using a fountain ink pen.
Pen types
Pen types can be fixed without moving parts and a cap to cover the ball point. These pens are the cheapest and simples to make and use.
The pen can have a mechanism to make the ball point come out or retract.
Ball point pen ink color
The most popular ink color for ball point pen refills is blue but black is used often too and red os usually used to correct previously written pages.
There are even multi color ball point pens with green, brown, yellow, orange ink too.
